It all started when…
In August of 1999 John joined a large home building company where he learned the basics of residential construction. Over the course of the next eight years, he was elevated through the ranks to upper level management in both the Austin and San Antonio markets. When the perfect opportunity arose in 2007, John left the corporate homebuilding world to start Wheelock Custom Builders. His ultimate goal was, and still is to construct each and every custom home just as if it were his own. Honesty, integrity, and attention to detail are core principles that make the finished product superior to the competition.
